Brittany Smith’s journey into the senior care industry began early, sparked by a passion for helping others. While still in high school, she enrolled in the Health Careers Program at Northeast Tech and earned her CNA certification. Brittany’s first job at a local nursing home solidified her decision to dedicate her career to the senior care field. It was there, interacting with residents, that she recognized the profound impact she could make on the lives of seniors—a realization that set her on a lifelong path in geriatric care.

After earning her CNA, Brittany went on to achieve her Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification, followed by a nursing license. With over a decade of hands-on nursing experience, Brittany’s journey continued as she earned her administrator’s license, equipping her with both clinical expertise and leadership skills. Today, she uses her knowledge to oversee and enhance the care provided to the residents of Heartland Suites, a place she considers a true home for seniors.

As both a nurse and an administrator, Brittany brings a unique and invaluable combination of clinical care and management skills to her role. This dual expertise allows her to seamlessly bridge the gap between caregiving and operational management, ensuring every resident receives the best possible care in a warm, homelike environment. Above all, it’s Brittany’s heart full of compassion that drives her to make every resident’s day as fulfilling and joyful as possible.

Dietary Managment Oversight

Eric Sponamore is the owner and founder of Sponamore Nutrition Solutions, a premier provider of nutritional consulting services in Oklahoma. Since 2009, Eric has dedicated himself to improving the health and well-being of individuals across the state through tailored nutritional guidance. His expertise spans a diverse array of facilities, including long-term care and assisted living facilities, rural and metropolitan hospitals, dialysis centers, medical spas, group homes, and ICF facilities.​

Eric’s journey into the world of nutrition began with his own experiences as a lifelong athlete. He developed a profound appreciation for the impact of nutrition on performance and overall health. This passion led him to pursue a degree in Dietetics from Oklahoma State University, where he graduated in 2006. His academic background, combined with his personal commitment to health, has equipped him with the knowledge and insight to make a significant difference in the lives of his clients.​

Eric’s work is characterized by his hands-on approach and his dedication to staying current with the latest advancements in nutrition science. He regularly participates in continuing education and professional development opportunities to ensure that his clients receive the most up-to-date and effective nutritional advice.​

Eric, a devoted husband of 10 years, shares a fulfilling life with his wife. Together, they passionately engage in Labrador Retriever rescue efforts, showing their deep love for animals. In their free time, they enjoy exploring new destinations and discovering unique dining experiences.
